Lamb Syringe With Catheter (Stomach tube) is designed for administering colostrum to newborn lambs who are too weak to suckle themselves. If a lamb has a difficult birth and is unable to stand in the first few hours in order to suckle then you may be required to use the Lamb Syringe With Catheter to get colostrum into the lamb. It is usually quit easy to use on lambs as they will usually swallow the tube themselves. However you still should take care to insure that this is the case, in order to insure no liquid makes it to the lambs lungs. If you are unsure contact a vet or an experienced sheep farmer.

How much colostrum should a newborn Lamb Get

It is recommended that Lambs receive 10 percent of the body weight in colostrum by 24 hours after birth. This means that a 10 lb. lamb should consume 1lb. of colostrum by 24 hours of age. Ideally, they should consume half of this within 4 to 8 hours of birth.

When you make an online purchase you have a statutory right to return the goods to us up to 14 days  after receiving your order - this is the cooling-off period. If you are not satisfied with your purchase or if the goods are defective in any way please return it to us at:

Once the goods have been received by us and are in the same condition as when despatched we will refund all monies due to you. 

Please ensure you retain proof of postage as the item remains the customer's responsibility until it is received by Agridirect. Please include proof of purchase with your return.
