Why use a Farm Safety Sign - Slurry Store Danger of Drowning​ 

The presence of a Farm Safety Sign alerting persons to the presence of slurry is an aid in preventing what could be a tragic accident.One of the biggest issues on farms is the storage and maintenance of slurry. The main danger associated with slurry is the risk of falling into an uncovered or unfenced pit or tank. It is therefore important that there is signage in place to inform people of the storage of slurry. Care is needed when handling slurry. It is important to have another adult with you when dealing with slurry.

Entry into slurry storage tanks by unauthorised personnel should never be allowed. Where entry is essential and unavoidable, it should only be carried out by trained and competent persons with appropriate breathing apparatus; after testing to ensure oxygen levels are adequate and to ensure that all other gases such as Hydrogen Sulfide are at safe levels. The person entering must be fitted with a safety harness with a watcher at entry point.

Always be wary around slurry and if you begin to feel dizzy get away from the area immediatly and consult your doctor.

When you make an online purchase you have a statutory right to return the goods to us up to 14 days  after receiving your order - this is the cooling-off period. If you are not satisfied with your purchase or if the goods are defective in any way please return it to us at:

Once the goods have been received by us and are in the same condition as when despatched we will refund all monies due to you. 

Please ensure you retain proof of postage as the item remains the customer's responsibility until it is received by Agridirect. Please include proof of purchase with your return.
